高频焊管机是直缝焊管机的一种，和其他制管机不同的地方就在于其焊接方式。高频焊管机是利用高频电阻涡流是管材热熔并凝结来制造管材的。高频焊管机由于焊接速度快，越来越受到人们的青睐，比如石油管、天然气等大型管材都是使用高频焊管机制造的。

高频焊原理/High frequency welding principle：

高频焊就是高频率的电阻焊（英文Electric Resistance Welding），所以很多人也把电阻焊管成为ERW管。高频焊系统一般由整流系统、冷却系统和控制系统组成。从电网接入的低频50HZ常规用电经过整流系统的IGBT系统整合后，迅速提升到400KHZ以上，高频电流加到电感线圈（即感应圈）后，利用电磁感应原理转换成高频磁场，并作用在处于磁场中的金属管材上，由于涡流效应是分散在管材周围的，所以需要在管材内部预置一个磁棒，受磁棒影响，涡流会在管材缝隙处集中，然后涡流受集肤效应影响，利用电流热效应原理生成热量，从而使管材边缘熔化区热熔，在外力挤压下又凝结在一起，从而实现焊接。
